Hi, I’m Jelly. I began tattooing in Korea in 2014 and am now based in Sydney. Some people stay in our memories through a scent, while certain days come back to us through a taste or a song. I believe colour can hold memories in the same way. Just as light passing through a prism unfolds into many colours, a person’s feelings and stories can never be expressed in only one way. Through my work, I try to turn the light, darkness and love within each story into colour, creating a small world that can live on the skin. I hope getting a tattoo can be more than simply placing an image on the body. I want it to be a moment of understanding one another and creating a memory together. I hope the colours we create stay with you for a long time, as a story that is entirely your own.
